  Visited on a whim with zero regrets. It's a small little restaurant with limited seating. Expect a wait, but the line moves very fast. They'll give you a number and hand you a menu so you can write down your order -- it'll go straight to the kitchen as soon as you sit down!
  
  All the food items here are fairly inexpensive. Super comforting, traditional HK breakfast items. They make everything super flavorful and generously portioned.
  
  The rice rolls were my favorite, especially the beef and pork one. I also ordered the BBQ pork one too (char siu) which was also good. So savory, full of meat, and filling. Fish curry balls were amazing, and the fried fish was a good snack! Egg rolls were pretty standard.
  
  Congee was huge -- easily a shareable portion if you plan on ordering other small dishes!
  
  Overall, fast service with efficiency, good food at a fair cost, and extremely clean restaurant! I would definitely return.

  Small but clean lil' place across from Markville Mall.
  
  Courteous and fast service.
  
  Great for a quickie stop-off for a bite to eat.
  
  The food is freshly made and tastes lovely! Piping hot with that wonderful texture that slides perfectly into your mouth.
  
  It's not pricey and well worth the visit. Come one come all for those who crave the best rice rolls and congee around!

  Was up nice and early and Day Off on a Monday! Heard about this joint way back, but never went to try it out. Really small location, minimal seating. But at 9am hardly anyone there, which is great! Clean and Bright Establishment. Pleasant wait staff and fast service.

  1. Marinated Pork & Shrimp with Chives Rice Roll $5.99
  Super paper thin rice roll skin, stretchy and holds the filling in well. Super smooth and tasty.
  
  2. Shredded Pork & Gold Preserved Eggs Congee $5.50
  Fluffy Congee and tons of pork, preserved eggs, cilantro, and shredded lettuce. Taste is Clean and I don't think there is any MSG.
  
  3. Dough Stick $2.25
  Freshly fried dough sticks! Nice Crisp Exterior and Super Soft Interior!
  
  4. FREE
  HK Hot Milk Tea $2.25
  It was not bad, a little heavy on the cream side.
  
  Definitely will come back to try other items!

  I really, really, really enjoy this congee but specifically this restaurant in the Markham area.
  There's always a little bit of a wait, especially on weekends but there's also a high turnover of tables.
  
  AMBIANCE: 4/5
  The restaurant is geared towards being functional and efficient as to get diners in and out ASAP. However, it's also comfortable and clean for a family meal.
  
  FOOD: 4/5
  1. Minced Beef Congee: Their congee is average for me. I'd order this again but not my favorite part of the meal
  2. Beef & Shrimp Chang Fan: I LOVE how silky the chang fan is. I also like the beef but the shrimp was a little weird tasting to me.
  3. Plain Chang Fan: My mom loves this so much that should order another one before we left. Literally one of the best chang fan I've had in Markham.
  4. Dough Sticks: Average but still a staple every time I come.
  5. Hot & Cold Milk Teas: LOVE how strong the tea flavor came through. Don't order this if you're lactose though, it is wholly a MILKY drink.
  
  SERVICE: 5/5
  This hands-down has got to be the best customer service I've received in 2019. There's always a waitress looking around to see if anyone needs help. They're super polite and always warn you when they're dropping stuff off at your table. They ask if you're done before picking up dishes from your table.
  
  OVERALL: 4.5/5
  Quality, quantity, and price matches. Definitely a must try if you're in the area.

  What a great place to go to for such a cheap price!
  My mom and I were debating on a restaurant that is on the cheaper side and yet delicious. Luckily we found yin ji chang fen! BTW this is a perfect place to go to only if you like congee and rice noodles (because this is mainly what they have on there menu).
  
  Food - One of the best food here in Markham. Now I know what you guys are thinking. Yes they are a lot of food in Markham so what makes this one so special? Well, one of the main things that made me try this restaurant is the rice noodle! When I go to dim sum I am a huge fan of rice noodles, and depending on which one you can get here, they range from $3.50-$8.50.
  Now, when my mom goes to dim sum she likes to go and get congee, and they have a wide range of congee + rice noodles for you to choose from!
  
  I highly suggest that you guys try this restaurant! Definitely one of the places that you won't regret trying!
